Textile Art has been a lifelong interest.

I love combining any of the following techniques......

Transfer dyeing, Free motion machining, Heat fusing fabrics, Soldering iron mark making on fabrics and machine Needle felting/Embellishing. 

I studied Visual Arts and majored in Textile Art for my degree at the University of Melbourne, before most of the processes I now do were discovered.

I am relatively new to the art of machine Needle Felting/Embellishing and have been experimenting with this technique. 

I have taught the subject 'Textile Art' as a Volunteer Convenor at U3A (University of the 3rd Age) in Port Macquarie Australia for several years, and Glen Eira U3A, Melbourne. I hope to start private group lessons soon in Flinders (Mornington Peninsula Melbourne) if there is sufficient interest. 

I am happy to say that I have had a group of older students in my studio at Flinders. it ran for 10 weeks on Monday mornings. I plan to do another in 2023..
