Many varying sized scraps of wool fabrics in many different colours were attached to the background fabric first, covering it completely, then Needle Felted into position. Thick hand dyed silk threads were couched down over this background fabric with hand stitch. The shapes created by the curving couched threads were then filled in with embroidery stitches using various coloured wools in a few differing stitches.
