Needle Felting
Various silk fabric pieces were positioned over a piece of hessian and machine needle felted. Additional curved pieces of silk were individually placed on top and free motion machined using a fine gold thread. The piece recalls my memory of a loved old and worn Turkish carpet, and so the name 'Memories of a Turkish Delight".
