Needle Felting and Hand Stitch
This piece shows leaves cut from wool flimsies (pre felts) needle felted to a deep blue hand dyed woollen background. The dyed wool yarn for the leaf veins, and stems, has been needle felted too. The piece was finished with hand embroidery using the same wools. The fruit was created by halving solid felted balls, which are available in stores. Jill
